My first Pony

My very first pony was Arlington Louise, a black Shetland Pony better known in the family as Lulu. I had many fun years on her hacking out and doing shows, my best memory was riding at he Royal Bath & West Show at the age of 2 and a bit, I was the youngest ever competitor at the time to have ever ridden at the show. Waiting to enter the ring could sometimes take ages, So I would have a little nap when ever I could!

My second pony was a 4yr old chestnut gelding, "Twyford Jamie" bought for me by my grandmother, when I was 6yrs old.  I did many pony club activities and shows with Jamie, which gave me the bug for showjumping, and proved to be the sport I now love most. Jamie was my best friend, I was heartbroken when he became blind at a early age, and sadly Jamie was put down.
